There has been a fresh supply of anti-Russian propaganda today, both from the Irish government and mainstream media, blaming Russia for the “aggression in Ukraine” and swearing loyalty to the Kiev regime.

The level of hypocrisy involved in that exercise is astounding. Those in Ireland who now claim high moral ground and shed crocodile tears over the victims of the tragic conflict in Ukraine not only have done nothing to prevent it, but made every effort to provoke this war. History will judge harshly the Irish leaders and political elite who misled their own people with completely false narrative on Ukraine and surrendered Irish sovereignty in joining confrontation with Russia and waging proxy war in Ukraine. They have willingly supported the US, NATO and EU policy of deliberately blocking all attempts on political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis to push Russia into the unwelcome choice of using military means to defend the rights of Russian speaking population of Ukraine as well as to ensure Russia’s vital national security interests.
