    For 21 years Michael “Chicken” Cullen defied a compulsory purchase and eviction order issued by Dublin County Council on his small 19th century workers cottage and delayed the completion of the now notorious Walkinstown Roundabout. He and the people of Walkinstown stood up to the county sheriff as they tried to evict him from his home against his will.
